What Our Riders Say

"
Sunset Ride

My partner proposed at the ridge during the Sunset Ride. Amelia had secretly helped him coordinate everything — the champagne, the timing, the photographer hidden in the bushes. An absolute fairytale evening.

Family Ride

We brought our three kids (aged 5, 8, and 11) and every one of them was beaming from start to finish. Emma made them feel so safe and special. The grooming session at the end was the highlight of their entire holiday.

Expedition

The Grand Valley Expedition was the single greatest experience of my year. David's knowledge of the land, the picnic at the summit, the photography — it was beyond what I thought an equestrian tour could be. Already booked for next autumn.

Before You Ride

Have more questions? Get in touch — we'd love to help you plan your perfect ride.

Do I need riding experience to join a tour?
Many of our tours are designed specifically for beginners — including the Sunrise Ranch Ride and Family Farmyard Ride. These are led entirely at walk and are suitable for anyone with no experience. Tours marked Intermediate or Advanced require prior riding experience as they include trot, canter, and varied terrain.
What is the minimum age for tours?
Children aged 5 and over can join our Family Farmyard Ride on led ponies with a dedicated handler. Children aged 10+ can join our Beginner-level independent trail rides. Adult tours (Intermediate and Advanced) require participants to be 16 or over. All under-18s require parental consent.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance for standard tours. Popular sessions — particularly the Sunset Ride, Moonlit Night Ride, and Grand Valley Expedition — book up weeks in advance, especially in summer and autumn. Private tours should be booked at least a week ahead.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your tour receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24–48 hours receive a 50% credit voucher. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable. In cases of genuine emergency, please contact us — we'll always try to help where we can.
Can tours be arranged for corporate groups or events?
Absolutely — corporate group bookings are one of our specialties. We can accommodate groups of up to 40 riders across multiple guided sessions, including team building activities, ranch lunches, and bespoke event packages. Contact us directly for a custom group quote.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes! Gift vouchers are available for any specific tour or as a monetary value redeemable against any tour. They're valid for 12 months from date of purchase and can be purchased online or by calling the yard. We can post a physical certificate or email a digital version — perfect for last-minute gifts.
